I am delighted to report on the outstanding results of the Class of 2017.
Congratulations to all our students on their fine achievements. 30.2% of our students achieved A grades with 74% of our students achieving a B grade or better in their subjects. 19 (A+) merits were achieved across a range of subjects including (Research Project, Classical Studies, Biology, English, Italian, Physical Education, Physics, Music Individual Study, Sport and Recreation and Religious Education.
Congratulations to 18 students who achieved an Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) of 95+. 29 students who scored an excellent ATAR of 90+.
Anja Bancevic is our Dux for 2017 with an ATAR of 99.35 and four merits (A+) in the Research Project, English, Biology and Religious Education.
Congratulations also to Nathaniel Gradisar (98.65) – Proxime Accessit and Raquel Calderer-Benitez (98.2). We are very proud of all our students who have achieved their SACE certificate and their personal best. We are equally proud of all teachers who have nurtured and supported our students brilliantly.
On Friday 9 February 2018, we will acknowledge all students who achieved outstanding results at the Dux of the School assembly with our special guest Dr Helen Riekie, Principal of Cabra Dominican College who was the Head of the Senior School at Cardijn College when our 2017 cohort were in Year 10.

Sebastian Macaspac has been awarded the Governor of SA Commendation in the SACE, the highest award in the SACE which acknowledges excellence in the SACE and development and demonstration of outstanding capabilities as he undertook the SACE.
Congratulations to Sebastian on this achievement and the recipient of a Merit (A+) in Music Individual Study and the Research Project as well as straight A’s in all his other subjects.
