Cardijn College has recently conducted a review of the College timetable and a number of decisions have been made that will come into effect from 2019.
These include:
- Each school day will follow the same timetable meaning that there will no longer be an early dismissal every Monday. Morning homeroom will commence at 8.40am and afternoon homeroom will be dismissed at 3.23pm. This does not include the last day of each term when dismissal will remain at 1.00pm.
- To support the efficient flow of car and pedestrian traffic at the end of the school day, there will be no afternoon homeroom for students in Years 10, 11 and 12. These students will be dismissed from Lesson 7 at 3.15pm.
- Students in Years 7, 8 and 9 will attend afternoon homeroom and will be dismissed at 3.23pm.
- Recess has been moved to earlier in the day and will now begin at 10.20am.
