Enrolment Information

We wish to advise families that the enrolment application period for our Year 7 2026 intake has now closed. Future applications received for Year 7 2026 will be placed on a waiting list. Enrolments for other year levels will be subject to vacancies.

We are currently accepting enrolments for Year 7 2027, applications close at the end of Term 1, 2025. Early applications are advised to avoid disappointment.

Enrolment Information

If you are interested in enrolling your child at Cardijn College, visit the Request a Prospectus page, fill in your details to receive a prospectus via email or post.

Applications must be lodged by the end of Term 1, the year your child is in Year 5 for entry into Year 7.

The enrolment process
Your application must include:

  • a copy of the child’s birth certificate/passport 
  • a completed copy of our enrolment form
  • a reference from your Parish Priest (not required if your child currently attends a Catholic School)
  • if you are unable to provide a religious reference, then a reference from your current Principal or classroom teacher is essential
  • copy of the latest school report
  • a certificate of any sacraments received
  • a $50 application fee
  • reports in relation to special needs (if applicable)
  • copy of Custody Order (if applicable)

After receipt of your application, an interview will be arranged with the Principal or his delegate at an appropriate time.

At the interview, copies of the most recent school reports should be made available.

How many students do we accept?
Year 7 (first year of secondary school in SA): approximately 250 new students are accepted at this year level. Early application is advised.

Years 8 -12: Enrolments are accepted if there are vacancies at the time of application to these year levels.

 

Enrolment Priority Guidelines
