From the Principal

Welcome to Cardijn!

From humble beginnings in 1984, Cardijn College has developed into more than just a ‘good school’!

Inspired by Cardinal Joseph Cardijn and our association with the Marist charism of St Marcellin Champagnat, the Cardijn community now comprises three unique campuses across the Southern Vales.

Founded on the teachings of Jesus, our College spirit is in fact a ‘family spirit’ which: nurtures, supports, challenges and enables our students from Reception to Year 12, across multiple pathways aligned to their interests and talents, via numerous cultural, artistic, technological and sporting pursuits to be the best versions of themselves as they grow into becoming fine young women and men.

Key to the successful student outcomes at Cardijn is our respectful and relational learning environment. Both Cardinal Cardijn and Father Champagnat extolled the virtue of ‘hard work’ and their legacy continues through our young people as they aim to reach their potential and to make the world a better place!

I look forward to meeting you as your child journeys through Cardijn!

Warm regards,

Steve Byrne
Principal
