College Uniform
Students are expected to be in correct Cardijn College Summer uniform on their first day.
Please note that correct footwear for students is a black leather dress shoe.

School Uniforms are available through the Lowes store or via the Lowes online store.
Second-hand uniforms will be available for purchase at Cardijn every Tuesday 8.30 – 11am (during school term). Further opening times will be published on our website and social media.
All blazers and skirt orders are to be in by the end of February to ensure availability before the beginning of Term 2.
College backpacks are available for purchase from Front Reception during business hours. The cost is $70.
Laptops
As part of our learning environment, all students are expected to utilise a laptop within their subjects. Whilst students are welcome to bring their own device, Cardijn College offers a Laptop Lease Program.

You will receive an email early in the new year regarding the collection of laptops for students. This is anticipated to take place during the second or third week of January 2025.
Extra-curricular Sports
Nominations are now open for our 2025 extra-curricular sports program.
If your child would like to be involved in one or more of the following sports in 2025, please visit the link to complete our official Online School Sport Nomination & Consent form.

Co-curricular Music
The Music Department at Cardijn College encourages students to immerse themselves in the community life of the college through the learning, understanding, and creation of music.
Our diverse range of ensembles ensures that each student can build confidence in playing their chosen instrument. Ensembles play an essential role in a child’s music education, fostering social interaction and a sense of community across year levels.
From choirs and bands to small ensembles, ranging from beginner to advanced, students at all stages of their musical journey can enjoy the social aspects of creating music together. They also develop vital ensemble skills such as blending, working cohesively to create a unified sound, and pushing their own musical limits. Canteen Service
Rory’s School Lunches operates the canteen service at Cardijn College Marian and Marcellin.
Rory’s is an Adelaide-based catering and canteen management company that currently delivers lunch services to over 40 Adelaide schools.

Financial Information
Cardijn College has an inclusive fee structure for students attending each of our three schools and is based on your child/children’s year level.

Southern Region Sibling Discount Form
The Financial Payment Plan Form is required to be completed and returned prior to your child commencing on 28 January 2025. If you are not intending to pay your fees upfront, a completed direct debit form is required prior to your child commencing with us.
The Finance Team is here to help you and can assist with any financial enquiries where necessary during your child’s education. We encourage communication with our families as this assists us in providing you with the very best service.
Willunga Charter Bus
Cardijn College offers bus services to support those families living in the following areas:
McLaren Vale/Willunga, Sellicks/Aldinga where public transport is limited.
The annual fee for 2025 will be $1,100 on a full-time basis only will be invoiced in Term 1. This can be incorporated into regular direct debit payments.

This award-winning resource helps build relationships, foster connections, enable understanding and break down barriers to navigate a pathway towards better mental health and wellbeing for young people. It can assist in starting conversations on topics that are sometimes awkward or difficult to tackle.

Photo Consent
As part of our commitment to maintaining a safe and respectful online environment, we will be sending out a form via Consent2Go for you to indicate your preferences regarding the publication of your child’s image or work on our social media channels.
This form will allow you to specify whether you consent to, or prefer to limit, the use of their photos and achievements in our digital communications.
First Day Arrangements
New Year 12 students in 2025 will begin school on Tuesday 28 January at 8.40am. On this day only Year 7, Year 12 and new students in Years 8-11, will be present at the College. This will be another opportunity for the students to smoothly transition into life at Cardijn. The day will conclude at 3.25pm.
The following day, Wednesday 29 January, all students will be on campus. Students will begin following their scheduled timetable and regular lesson times will apply.
Student Timetable
At Cardijn College, school commences at 8.40am and the day concludes at 3.25pm on Mon, Tue, Thu and Fri. Year 12 students will be dismissed early at 1.00pm every Wednesday, with all other year levels dismissed at 2.45pm.

Booklist
Please complete your online order through Campion Education: www.campion.com.au by Friday 13 December 2024. Orders will be delivered to your nominated address by Campion Education during the fortnight ending 17 January 2025. Please note payment needs to be arranged with Campion Education prior to delivery.
Elective subject allocations have been emailed to all students and families. You will not be able to place your order until you have received this information.
If you have not completed subject selections for 2025, please contact the College as soon as possible.
Medication Agreements
For families with children who require medication during the school day and/or medication outside of normal school hours (camps and overnight stays), we kindly ask that you download and complete the relevant Medication Agreement Form linked below. These forms are necessary to ensure that we can administer any required medication during camps or overnight stays.
We also request that you make appointments with the relevant medical professionals over the holidays to have the forms completed and ready for the new school year. Completing these steps in advance will help ensure your child’s health and safety while participating in these activities. Thank you for your attention to this important matter.
